Our Qualifications
Shoal River Learning Center Inc. is licensed by the State of Florida
through the Department of Children and Families, has received the Gold
Seal of Quality by the Department of Children and Families and is an
A.P.P.L.E. accredited preschool. All lead teachers are required to have a
Florida Childcare Professional Certificate and current CPR. All teachers /
assistants are required to have current first aid.

Preschool Services

Shoal River Learning Center offers full and part time preschool for children ages 3-5. Including the Florida VPK program for 4 year olds.

Part time: preschool hours(2, 3, 5 days a week) are 8:00-12:00 for three year olds.

Full time: care is 5 days per week 6:30 am-6:00 pm.

Florida VPK program: is three hours per day, five days per week and is free to all children who are four years old by September 1, 2011.

Florida's VPK Summer Program

In response to Florida legislation, Shoal River Learning Center, will provide a Summer Pre-K program for all eligible children that is "universal, voluntary, high-quality, free and delivered according to professionally accepted standards.

*Transportation must be provided by the parent/s

*No more than 10 students will be assigned to a certified teacher, although 2 teachers may share a classroom. A classroom assistant will provide support in every classroom.

*Breakfast, lunch and snacks will be provided

*Kindergarten entry immunization and health (physical) requirements must be met.

* Free before and afterschool care.
